Apex Home Care staff can help you choose from the available mobility options when a personal device such as cane or walker does not provide enough support.
There is no “one size fits all” in wheelchairs.
There is a science to fitting you properly in a wheelchair. You must come in to be fit right. Whether you are 5 feet tall or weigh over 300 lbs there are specific features that make your chair comfortable for you. If you are a shut-in, we will come to you.
Apex Home Care offers seat cushions, service and repair.
Wheelchairs- 2 big wheels, 32 lbs, self propelled or electric, a prescription item.
Transport Chairs - 4 small wheels, 14 lbs, usually pushed and easily collapsible,
no prescription needed.
